July is National Picnic Month!
Picnics encompass far more than simply enjoying tasty food; they involve gathering friends and family together to embrace the beauty of the outdoors. The warm sun hitting your face while simultaneously smelling the bright flowers awakens the senses and brings joy from one person to the next.
This being said, it’s time to plan your next picnic! Let’s take a look at some local parks to have a picnic as well as delicious recipes for you to make!

The Ballet Gala at SPAC will be on Saturday July 14th starting at 6pm. From 6-8PM there will be live music to go with your picnic before the ballet begins! You’ll need to bring your own food, drink, and cocktails to the lawn party but you can use your $200 Price Chopper gift card to get everything you need for a memorable night! After the ballet, you will get to party like you’re in Paris! There will be a Moulin Rouge costume contest and fireworks!! Party in a Box will be donating their tent services to the winner. Your tent will include a table and seats for six but feel free to bring your own decorations such as lights, candles, flowers, or whatever will make your tent unique!
We will be accepting photos from July 6th until July 11th, 2012 at 3:00PM. The winner will be announced on July 11th at 5:00PM. Read official rules here
