I first came across this dessert when I had my family over this past Christmas.  How lucky was I to have both my sister and sister-in-law bring what they called Oreo Balls.  Both were delicious, but each took a spin of their own, milk chocolate versus white chocolate.  Regardless of your choice, these are sure to be a hit! These little bites of heaven are easy to make and very affordable.  The best part is you don’t even need to turn on your oven.  It’s just a few steps and so fun to do with your kids-  a perfect Mother’s Day treat! Ingredients 1 package of Oreos finely crushed 1 brick of Price Chopper Cream Cheese 1 bag of Price Chopper Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels Sprinkles or any topping you desire Beat cream cheese and Oreo cook crumbs until well mixed and smooth.  Roll mixture into one-inch balls and refrigerate for 1-2 hours.  Microwave chocolate morsels for 2 minutes, stirring often.  (Tip: Add vegetable oil or shortening to loosen chocolate).  Dip Oreo Balls into chocolate and place on tray lined with wax paper and sprinkle with toppings.  Refrigerate finished Oreo Balls until chocolate shell has hardened. Yields 30 The whole family can enjoy this recipe by making it their own favorite cookie.  For example, peanut butter lovers should try Nutter Butter cookies and Dark Chocolate Morsels!
