I want to unsign myself. Did not realize you charge $1.99/month inactivity fee (another blogger wrote this….she read it in your rules)
Please confirm. Otherwise I do not plan on shopping at PC. Too much “fear” if I don’t get there each month.
INACTIVE ACCOUNT FEE
SavingStar does not charge a fee to join. However, it is your responsibility to keep your Account active. If your Account becomes Inactive, SavingStar will deduct a monthly Inactivity Fee of $1.99 from any Awards received in your Account. Your Account will be considered “Inactive” if, for a period of twelve (12) consecutive months you have not activated an offer, received an Award, or withdrawn Awards from your Account. In the event that your Account will soon be deemed Inactive, SavingStar will attempt to notify you at your registered email address before it begins to deduct Inactivity Fees from the Awards in your Account. If your Account is Inactive, you may automatically reactivate it by activating an offer or withdrawing Awards.
Once you save $5 with them you can get your money at any time into your bank account, PayPal account or an Amazon gift card so it’s pretty simple. You only need to activate a coupon once per year to avoid any fees, and if you do have any money in your SavingStar account you can just withdraw it. They are not taking money out of your personal account.
Sounds interesting, can’t wait to start using it.
I’ve used the service before I moved to Albany and it’s great. So glad you guys signed up. I’ve been waiting for this. At the end of the month I used to send the money to a savings account. The inactive account fee comes from the money you’ve earned. To avoid this, just cash the funds every time you accrue $5 and you’ll be fine. I’ll write about this after I use it this week.
