Market 32 and Price Chopper Lower Everyday Prices on Over a Thousand Grocery Essentials
Schenectady, N.Y., September 14, 2026– Everyone loves to save, and now Market 32 and Price Chopper are lowering prices on over a thousand grocery essentials this fall, giving shoppers even more savings as families head back to school, enjoy football season, and gear up for the holidays. The neighborhood grocer’s new value-focused campaign has grown into a companywide initiative that will allow shoppers to spot the savings on bright, yellow “new lower price” tags displayed in the aisles across its 128 stores, inspired by iconic promotional branding used in Price Chopper’s sale campaigns decades ago.
The campaign has three key ways for shoppers to save:
- AdvantEdge Rewards is getting simpler: The AdvantEdge Rewards program has been revamped to offer 2% back on almost everything through November 7 –– a pivot from the previous points-based system. Shoppers no longer have to wonder what their rewards are worth — the receipt at checkout will clearly show the cash value delivered. For example, 515 points will be shown as $5.15 earned and redeemed. Every reward becomes savings on a future shopping trip, and shoppers double their normal savings.
- Over a thousand lowered prices throughout stores: With families stepping into fall activities, the campaign is designed to deliver savings when grocery budgets are stretched even more. Over a thousand everyday staples for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and more will be heavily discounted, allowing customers to fill up their grocery carts with the same high-quality ingredients at an even better value.
- Weekly reveal of the best deals: In addition to the yellow tags, customers should be on the lookout for falling prices in the grocer’s weekly ads, where they’ll see deep cuts on favorite items, market-leading deals, and weekly specials.
“We know that now more than ever, our customers are looking to make their grocery budgets go further, and we’re excited to roll out this campaign to help them find the best of what we have to offer at the very best prices,” said Market 32 and Price Chopper President Blaine Bringhurst. “Our goal of making it easier to save was also the inspiration for the shift from points to dollars with our AdvantEdge Rewards program. It’s a reflection of Market 32 and Price Chopper’s commitment to helping customers see and feel the difference each time they shop with us.”

“We remain committed to finding more ways to provide our customers with meaningful value, especially as we head into the busy holiday season,” added Bringhurst.
