Market 32 and Price Chopper Introduce Shy's Eats Chicken and Egg Salads in Select Locations
Locally Made, Health-Focused Prepared Dish Now in Six Capital Region Stores
Market 32 and Price Chopper is excited to announce Shy’s Eats Chicken Salads and Egg Salad— high-protein, ready-to-eat meal solutions— are now available in the Foodfare department of six Capital Region Market 32 locations. Focused on making healthy eating easy and convenient, the addition of Shy’s Eats continues the mission of bringing high-quality local products to customers.

Shy’s Eats is a Capital Region meal preparation service and the passion project of Shahila “Shy” Abbasi, a professionally trained chef who creates weekly fresh meal options for people looking to make healthier choices on a busy schedule. After making major changes to support her own health, Shy made it her mission to help others with home-cooked meals they can feel good about. “What started as simply preparing meals for others became something much more meaningful to me,” Shy said.
The gourmet chicken salads are made by hand using clean, health-minded ingredients and come in a variety of flavors, including Buffalo, Cranberry Walnut, Dill Pickle, and Curry, in addition to traditional chicken and egg salads. Each delicious variety is carefully made in partnership with a registered dietitian to ensure nutritional value without sacrificing flavor. “Two years ago, I told anyone who would listen, ‘One day, I will have my products in Market 32’,” Shy said. “Seeing Shy’s Eats on the shelves of Market 32 is more than I ever could have imagined. It is a dream come true, not only for me, but for my family.”
The launch marks an exciting next step for Shy’s Eats and expands Market 32 and Price Chopper’s home.grown. selection of locally made products from businesses throughout the communities it’s proud to serve.
