Market 32 and Price Chopper Launch Pet Food Drive to Help Care for Every Family Member
Customers donations in stores will fill bowls and keep tails wagging at area rescues — because pets are family, too
Market 32 and Price Chopper stores are inviting customers to help support pets and families in their communities through the purchase of $10 bags of pet food.
Now through October 10, shoppers can purchase a bag containing five Pure Harmony dog or cat food items to be donated to an animal shelter or pet-support organization in their local community. Donations will help provide nutritious food to animals awaiting adoption and support outreach programs that help local families keep their pets healthy and well-fed.
“We’re pleased to offer our customers a simple and affordable way to support local animal shelters and families who may be struggling to provide for their pets,” said Dani Tremblay, manager of community relations for Market 32 and Price Chopper. “Pets are family too, and together, we can help make sure they get the food and care they need.”
The donated pet food will help local shelters stretch their resources and provide for animals in their care, while also supporting programs that assist pet owners experiencing food insecurity.
