Ellie Wilson is a registered dietitian-nutritionist and Senior Nutritionist for Price Chopper/Market 32/Golub Corporation, located in Schenectady, NY. She holds a M.S. in Community Health Education, and several professional and business certifications.
As Senior Nutritionist for Price Chopper and Market 32, Ellie develops and manages nutrition data and food/health resources for the entire chain of 133 stores, supporting Pharmacy, Food Service/QA, Public Relations, Human Resources and Advertising/Marketing teams. Ellie is honored to be an appointee to the New York State Governor’s Council on Hunger and Food Policy. She is active with the New York State Academy of Nutrition and Dietetic Association, (NYSAND), and the regional Hudson Valley affiliate (HVAND) as a Public Policy Co-chair, and the Capital District affiliate of the American Heart Association, serving as a volunteer nutrition coach for the annual BetterU/Go Red for Women program. She is a member of the Food Marketing Institute Health and Wellbeing Council. Finally, Ellie is a food service management rotation preceptor for the Troy, NY-based Sage Colleges Dietetic Internship.
