Price Chopper/Market 32 Pharmacies will be carrying the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine.
It is a two dose series and the second dose is administered 28 days after the first.
Both doses are needed for full protection!

Be sure you are eligible to be vaccinated. Patients in NY will also be required to fill out an electronic attestation to certify under penalty of law that they qualify.
- Vaccine is available by appointment only to those that are designated to be vaccinated by New York State. Pharmacies are currently only permitted to vaccinate those 65 and older.
• Vaccine is available by appointment only to those that are designated to be vaccinated according to the NY 1a priority group
• Patients will schedule their appointment using the state online scheduler (links above)
• After scheduling, patients will receive a voucher that they will bring to the pharmacy at their appointment time
• Please do not arrive at the pharmacy more than five minutes before the appointment time
• Look for the sign that says “Registration” to start the vaccine process
• Bring your driver’s license and insurance
• All vaccine recipients will be asked to wait in the pharmacy area for a required observation for 15-30 minutes post vaccination
Who gets vaccine first?
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that while vaccine supply is limited that it is distributed in a phased approach. There are three phases and as vaccine supply increases vaccination will progress to the next phase.
Each state is using the CDC phased approach but may be making individual customization. To see up to date information for your state, view the state by state information below.

1b- Frontline essential workers and People aged 75 years and older
1c- People aged 65—74 years, People aged 16—64 years with underlying medical conditions, and Other essential workers

Who should be vaccinated?
Moderna COVID-19 vaccine is approved for adults 18 years of age and older with no contraindications to the vaccine.
Who should not be vaccinated?
Those with an allergy to a component of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, an allergy to the Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine (mRNA COVID-19 vaccines). See Pharmacist for more information.
What side effects are expected after the vaccine?
Pain, swelling, and redness at the injection site is common. You may also experience chills, tiredness, and headache.
What to do if you experience a side effect
