I love to sit in our backyard with my family and enjoy an iced seltzer with lime while my daughter plays.

  2. Kim says:

When I am really stressed I will unwind by sitting in front of the TV with my husband and a glass of wine! A massage wouldn’t hurt though!!

  3. Laurie Touchette says:

My best stress reliever is some me time.. a bubble bath, a quick massage, maybe even a mani & pedi.

  4. Sally Heller says:

I like to meditate in my recliner or in the swimming pool (while floating on my back). Sometimes I meditate in bed before I go to sleep.

  5. Ginger says:

How do I de-stress after a long day?..hmm..that’s a great question! Not sure if I ever have!! lol

  6. The only way I can truly rewind is by getting in a hot bubble bath with scented candles around the rim of the tub.

  7. Barb Klinge says:

I like to float in the pool with a good book.

  8. Alyssa says:

believe it or not, the way i relax is by going our for a walk or run. Nothing like listening to music and zoning out while saying good-bye to the stresses of the day.

  9. Katie Jean says:

I rock my baby to sleep.  Seeing him so peaceful helps me forget about everything else. But a spa day would be wonderful…

  10. I relax when I take care of the garden and my flowers. 🙂

  11. I am entering this so I can have a chance to win, not for myself, but for my best friend. She is the most deserving person I know. A single mom, she works so hard to take care of her boys and her elderly father and does it with little help and no complaints. She is always the first one to offer her help and support to everyone around her no matter what is going on in her life. My favorite way to relax is to take a nice, hot, quiet bubble bath- something I have time to do but she often does not. I would love to win so I can treat her to the pampering she deserves! 🙂

  12. Beth Gagliardi says:

I love to de-stress by whipping up delicious food. Nothing relaxes me more than cooking (except a good facial, LOL)

  13. jenny warner says:

Just sitting and doing nothing relaxes me the most !

  14. First off, no matter how hard and/or awful my day at work may be, I can walk through my door and having my children run at me to greet me literally makes each and every minute of that awful day melt instantly. Secondly, after a great home cooked meal prepared by my husband and enjoyed with my family, we top off the night with a wonderful dip in our hot tub! My two children, husband and myself just giggle, tease, squirt and smile the night away! I would love the opportunity to extend some relaxation time to just my husband and myself though, please, pretty please???

  15. I love to de-stress by pulling weeds in the garden.

  16. Ivy says:

Hammock, wine and a book during the evening while the kids play and the hubby BBQs dinner. . . . well if they can leave me alone . . .it sounds good, but the truth is theres usually a echo of “Mommy, . . . Mommy, . . . Hey MOMMY!!” or ” Hunny can you get me . . .”

  17. Richard R says:

My favorite way to de-stress is to get a massage. Ahhhhhhh!

  18. Not much time to be destressed being a single mom of 3 boys and one having Autism, but if i can get a few minutes to relax i might read a book, maybe have a glass of wine and watch some useless tv or take advantage of the quite and catch up on some much needed sleep!

  19. Julia Evans says:

I love to make a huge salad… there is just something about taking my time and chopping up a ton of fresh veggies that calms my nerves…. and i make a healthy snack while i’m at it!!

  20. erin churchill says:

I unwind by sitting outside with a nice cold Heineken by the fire pit.

  21. Star Jones says:

I like to come home and with our lovable 1 1/2 year old boxer. She loves to play fetch. After we play a few rounds of fetch we loves to sit on the couch and snuggle with me while we watch food network before we get up and cook dinner.

  22. I go on a long walk with my dog. We talk to neighbors and look at gardens and houses.

  23. Michelle R. says:

Taking a walk and then playing games with the family – priceless and very relaxing.

  24. Caroline Blewett says:

I unwind by listening to the sounds of nature while laying in a hammock in the garden while sipping a glass of ice tea.

  25. My last stress free moment was reading a magazine alone while my car was being serviced. Dad was having time with the boys. No karate lessons, swimming lessons, summer camp, or sibling rivalry! Peace and quiet made me miss my guys! Sounds silly but so true!

  26. Suzanne Phillips says:

One of my favorite ways to unwind after a long and stressful day is just by relaxing with my family in the evenings, watching “Seinfeld” reruns (we all find that show hilarious) or by watching new episodes of our other favorite sitcoms. Being with the people you love and laughing.. nothing better than that!

  27. Lisa Nichols says:

I love coming home from work to be greeted by my black lab ang going for a long quiet walk.

  28. Dorothy Britt says:

I love to unwind and relax with by cluddling my beautiful grandchildren. Nothing means more to me than hearing them say that they love thier granma 🙂

  29. Sarah Blood says:

My favorite way to unwind is go kick of my 3 inch heals and suit and put on work boots and jeans so I may head out to the barn and play with the cows! The phone doesn’t ring and the cows don’t talk back 🙂

  30. Lisa Irizarry says:

Realizing after another of many long commutes home how very fortunate we are to live in this beautiful city with gorgeous architecture and leafy streets. Thank you Saratoga!
