I do try to shop for more environmentally friendly products, but it can be tough on a budget. I LOVE the Nature’s Source cleaners and they are very reasonably priced, in some cases cheaper than other brands. For the most part I clean the old fashioned way, baking soda, vinegar.. etc, but the convenience is nice. I try to remember my reusable totes when I shop. I also look for items with the least amount of packaging and be sure to get items with recyclable packaging as well. At home we buy energy star appliances and have switched all our light bulbs. We use cloth diapers, better for the environment, our children and our wallets, We grow our own organic garden (oh how I wish I we lived where the growing season was longer) and try to conserve as much as possible.

I do try to shop green, and would loke to see more local produce offered in the store. I have heard that PC uses local produce but I have only seen it labelled as such once.
In response to the question about paying more for green products I say resoundingly NO. I don’t understand why prducts that are healthier cost more. I don’t want anything fancy for my family, I simply want the same basic ingredients that we have cooked with for centuries…not corn fillers and corn syrup. I appreciate that PC is offering more of these healthy options, but I don’t think I should have to pay more to feed my family this way.
