We’re both proud and honored to be a part of Price Chopper’s homegrown network, producing and offering a wide range of our award-winning, 100% Pure New England maple products for you. Just as with Price Chopper, we aim to not only bring the finest products to our customers, but to truly be a part of every community that we are present in.
Since the beginning, we have strived to bring our customers and retail partners, such as our friends at Price Chopper, a line of 100% pure maple products that truly stand out from the crowd. When did this commitment start? Owner Ben Fisk’s passion for making maple syrup started when he was 5 years old, visiting a maple sugar house on a field trip in preschool. It was from that point on that he knew he was going to make syrup.
After coming home from school, Ben immediately told his dad all about his experience and ideas. The very next day, he and his father got started and created their own homemade evaporator and hung only 13 sap buckets. Although that first year they only produced less than a gallon of syrup, within ten years, at age 15, Ben won the Maple Producers Carlisle Trophy for the Best Syrup in New Hampshire! Now, at age 27, Ben’s operation has grown to include two sugar houses, a wide variety of pure maple products, and a customer-focused staff. Whether you are looking for 100% Pure Maple Syrup, Maple Candy, Maple Cream, Maple Sugar, or even Maple Cotton Candy, we have that delicious something that you are searching for.
If you’re in the area, come visit us for free tours and samples, every Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm through April 12th!

the slow cooker. We have a few different recipes to choose from our Pinterest board as well as some nontraditional takes on the dish. The board also features a variety of side dishes and desserts that make for a very festive St. Patrick’s Day celebration. My personal favorites are the Traditional Irish Potato Pancakes, Irish Spiked Brownies, and Surprise inside St. Paddy’s Day cupcakes.
As with most holidays, decorating my house for the holiday is one of my favorite activities. For St. Patrick’s Day I tend to keep it simple. A decorating scheme using burlap, muted greens, white, and a touch of gold is perfect not only for St. Patrick’s Day, but many of the pieces could be reused for spring or Easter (as long as they are not covered in shamrocks and yes some of your decorations have to have shamrocks for St. Patrick’s Day!)
And don’t forget the kids! Keeping the little ones entertained can be a challenge, but there are a ton of fun craft and activities themed around St. Patrick’s Day! Many of the crafts are great pieces of art that can be then used to decorate the home!
Everyone have a safe and Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Written by Jane N. Golub Director In-Store Marketing Programs

Bring your appetite and sense of adventure to our Italian Fest! Italian cuisine is popular around the world -the dishes are simple, elegant and have few ingredients, but those ingredients have superior quality and intense flavor. There are twenty different regions in Italy, and each has unique agriculture, traditions and recipes. Enjoy some wonderful treasures and bring these flavorful Italian foods to your own table.
Start your journey with pasta – Italy is the world leader in the craft of pasta making, with a heritage that is over 500 years old. Explore the regional pasta varieties like DeCecco gnocchi and pasta, Rummo and Bella Italia Regionali pasta, and the fresh Rana pasta in the deli case. Cucina Amore has taken creamy risotto, polenta and nutty ancient grains, and applied innovation to ensure time-pressed cooks can bring these traditional flavors to their kitchen table. What a wonderful way to explore culture and authentic ingredients you can share with family and friends.
Dress all of those pastas and grains up with exciting sauces and flavors – Urbani fresh canned pesto or cherry tomatoes with summer truffles, regional extra virgin olive oils, peppery and bright, and Bella Italia Regionali or Rienzi prepared sauces. Explore Mutti, Ceccato and Price Chopper certified authentic Italian tomato products – make your own sauce with these and you will know why Italian dishes have traveled the world. Alessi vinegars, with flavors like white balsamic, pinot grigio and cabernet sauvignon add depth, complexity and brightness to your dressings and sauté’s.
The artisan cheeses will transport you – there are over 600 varieties of cheese made in Italy, and we can offer you a delicious tour in most of our stores. Taleggio, a soft Alpine cheese aged in caves pairs well with fruit and honey. Locatelli Romano, from the region near Rome (hence the name), is one of the world’s oldest cheeses. Montasio, made from the milk of three different breeds of cow, was first made by 13th century monks. Gran Cacio Estrusco is a semi-hard sheep’s milk cheese, cave-aged for four months, wonderful over silky gnocchi with lemon, peas and a touch of Prosciutto di Parma. What a great dish to herald spring!
Round out your meal with fruit-infused San Pellegrino sparkling water, and the fresh, bright flavor of Italian kiwifruit. Imported from the South Pacific by adventurous Italian farmers 30 years ago, Italy is now the largest producer of kiwifruit.
If you would like recipes that are authentic as these amazing ingredients, check out our Extraordinary Italian Taste Pinterest board.
Join us on a delicious journey around Italy, and embrace the Italian treasures that bring the Mediterranean diet to life, right in your own kitchen. Buon Appetito!

Spring is here! Well almost, but in only a few short weeks the first day of spring will be here (March 20th to be exact) and hopefully some warmer weather! The March lineup features four great breweries from New York State, featuring ingredients that are also produced in New York State.

SHEILA G’S BROWNIE BRITTLE
It all began when Sheila G., a passionate chocolate-loving baker, took a treasured family recipe for fudge brownies and baked her way into a thriving business. You may have tasted one of her rich, dense squares of heaven at some of our nation’s finest restaurants
and theme parks.
Like many brownie aficionados, Sheila is particularly fond of the crispy edges. In fact, she took great joy in walking through the bakery, gathering the brittle batter off the sides of the sheet pans as the brownies cooked in their racks. And that is where Sheila found her inspiration for Brownie Brittles – a thin, award-winning treat with a rich brownie taste, an amazing cookie crunch and only 120 calories per serving.
Deliciously versatile, Sheila G’s Brownie Brittle is great right out of the bag, as well as crumbled over ice cream, yogurt, cereal and more.
Like the crispy edge of a gourmet brownie, Sheila G’s Brownie Brittle satisfies your chocolate desires with fewer calories than other sweet snacks. So, crave away with these rich pieces of chocolate decadence you can feel good about.
Available in Chocolate Chip and Salted Caramel varieties – Look for Sheila G’s Brownie Brittle in the Snack aisle by the popcorn. Written by Tyler Blance, Marketing Program Coordinator – Local
