I would love go on a romantic vacation somewhere warm and bask in the sun. I just want to relax with the man of my dreams and have him hold me in his arms while we lay on the beach together and walk through the sand holding hands….

  2. Sheila Turner says:

I’d go to Venice with my husband! And, to be honest, probably the kids. 🙂

  3. Michaeline Ann Pashley says:

I would spend the weekend with my husband and our 2 year old daughter in Walt Disney World! They are BOTH my Valentine’s!!!

  4. Bonnie Lehmuth says:

None of the above ..I would go to Florida , to see my Sister in Law , I have not seen her since my Brother passed away……I would bring my Best Friend Jane with me.

  5. Andrew King says:

I would take my wife to either Northern Italy (where I have been twice, but she never has) or the South of Ireland (which smacks of her Newfoundland roots, and that way she wouldn’t have to depend on my poor Italian speaking skills…).

  6. Kate Stinnett says:

I would ♥ to be in BEAUTIFUL Alaska for Valentine’s Day where my feet and hands would be cold but my ♥ would be warm! I would bring my husband. Thanks for the opportunity!

  7. Larissa Pyer says:

I would take my husband to LA to visit some friends and see the West Coast since he has never been! In fact, he’s never been further west than Chicago, so time for him to see the Golden Coast. Venice Beach, Hollywood, Walk of Fame, Rodeo Drive, oh yeah, we would do the whole tourist thing!

  8. Kymberlee Zimmer says:

I would take hubby & our two young boys (ages 1 and 7) to the beach! Probably Myrtle Beach because we have family near there. My youngest son has never been to the beach and I would love to watch the joy on his face as he experiences it for the first time!

  9. Maryanne Gavenda Haynes says:

I would go to San Diego, I would bring my Husband. The reason I would pick there is becasue my Husband’s cousin is stationed there is the NAVY, she is deployed at the moment, I would use the gift certificates to go there when she got back. She has no one there to celebrate her home coming. She lost her mom 2 years ago.. I know she is really lonly, and it would make her life to see us when she got off that ship after months of being in the middle of the ocean…

  10. Dawn Foster says:

Florida Keys, and I would take my husband….we have not been away by ourselves since our honeymoon 24 years ago!!

  11. Vicki Harris says:

I would want to go to Vegas with my other half, Mike. We are both divorced and between the 2 of us have 5 kids ranging from 5 to 15. When we have a kid free weekend it’s usually spent doing housework and projects that we can’t do when we have the kids. Mike will be hitting the big 5-0 this year and I couldn’t possibly think of a better gift-some grown up time away, just the two of us! 🙂

  12. Marilyn Fuller says:

I would love to go back to San Francisco. My husband and I were there several years (20) ago, but only for a weekend. I would love to go back and spend more time there.

  13. We would most likely put it towards a trip to Scotland. My husband went active duty 1 month before our wedding in 2005…because of that we were never able to go on a honeymoon. We tried for FOUR years to go but between 6 deployments and our first child being born it NEVER happened. We WERE planning on going this May after my brain surgery recovery (the surgical date is 02/23 wish me luck!!) but now it is looking like that won’t happen either. We have to put our son in daycare for the first time in his life because my husband can’t take off the 3 months for my recovery…paying for daycare is using up everything we had for the trip to Scotland. Such irony… =)

  14. Edward smith says:

I would take my wife to Las Vegas so we could see Cher and Bette Midler. So she could see the bellagio fountains and take her on a gondola ride at the Venetian

  19. Debbie Black says:

My dream Valentine’s Day getaway would be to Florida or the Bahamas with my husband! He works very hard, 6 days a week, and it would be wonderful to get him away from it all to a tropical paradise where he could relax!!!!

  20. I would either go to Florida to Walt Disney World or Hawaii and I would take my entire family that includes my 5 kids Husaband and I. We have never really had a real vacation because who can afford it with 5 kids?? The farthest we went together was drove to Niagra Falls for 2 nights when I was pregnant for my 4th child. Other than that we go to hotels in our town for 1 or 2 night for vacation to enjoy the pool. Not much of a vacation but that is all I can give them. I don’t work and my husband works seasonally when needed.

I would love to go to San Francisco with my boyfriend and than take a side trip to Las Vegas. We both have family in these parts so we could get some relaxation and get to see family members that we never get to see. My boyfriend really needs to get away from all the stress created by his job & health issues.

  26. jerry buchanan says:

I would go anywhere where. Just somewhere to relax with my wife. I work so much since the baby and just haven’t had much time for each other

  28. Darcy London says:

It doesn’t matter where I am as long as my husband is with me 🙂

  29. Meaghan Cole says:

I would love to go on a honeymoon with my husband. We got married in July two days later I was at the hospital for emergency surgery. We spent all our wedding money on bills since I was not able to work. I would love to go to LA or even Hawaii with my husband. We both work hard and it would be so rewarding to just get away and relax..

  30. I would LOVE to go to Montego Bay . My husband and I got married there 4 years ago and since then we havent had a single get away together. He is so busy working 2 jobs and between being home with our 3 babies work and school we have no time together. I would LOVE to have just alone time with my husband away from all the stress of work and the kids and just enjoy each other and relax together!

  31. Katie shoff says:

I would love to spend this time with my 15 year old daughter. I just got out of an 11 year relationship (my choice) and the stress has just been overwhelming!!! Therefor I would love to go some where with my daughter, just the two of us whether it be Florida to spend some time in the sun or NYC. My relationship with my daughter is so important to me and especially at this time in our lives meaning her AGE and my current relationship status. She means the world to me and being she just made Principals Honors I think she is well deserving of this!!!

  32. Heather says:

I would love to getaway with my boyfriend, valentine and love of my life. Between student loans consuming half of each paycheck and working multiple jobs, we do not get to spend alot of time together, let alone save money to get away Each hardworking check of his goes straight to bills and rent. He’s a ref, direct service employee that works with and supports 4 clients and a security guard on the side. He’s amazing. Growing up with a single mom, they did not have opportunity to travel, so i would love to be able to surprise him with a trip to somewhere warm. I would love to travel to Hawaii with him and enjoy hula dancing and some time to enjoy ourselves and the beach <3 🙂

  39. Theresa Church says:

The coast of Maine with my new husband. This will be our first valentine’s as a married couple, so we’d go to where we were when we got engaged. Stay right on the ocean, and eat at Warren’s Lobster house. Too cold in ME in February? Nope, we know how to keep each other warm!

  40. Kourtney says:

I would take my husband to las Vegas for our 8 year anniversary (2/14). We would visit my aunt, uncle, and cousins Who we haven’t seen in years, and maybe get remarried by Elvis!

  41. Catherine Campbell says:

I would go to Hawaii to see the Islands and would love to cruise around those islands. My husband of 43 years would go with me!

  42. Laurie Touchette says:

Laurie Touchette I would take my mother on a trip to NYC.. just us two girls. Down to the city and to see a show and do some shopping (our two favorite things to do together). After 31 years of employment with her company she just found out this week that her job is being abolished. She is a trooper and will carry on and probably start enjoying life to it’s fullest now. Even though Valentine’s Day is meant for “lovers”.. I would defenitly spend this one with my MOM letteing her know exactly how much I LOVE HER!

  43. My husband and I are American parents to an exchange student son who we hosted and lived with us in 1990 during the school year. He was truly a delightful addition to our family. He returned to the USA in 1999 for our son’s wedding and had the opportunity to stay in the USA and become a “resident,”. He took on the challenge but along the way has had many major roadblocks. Finally in 2006, he became a “resident” and this year we will be celebrating his citizenship in the USA! He has had many trials and tribulations during this long road so it will be truly an accomplishment when he becomes a “citizen” of the country he loves so dearly. I am so excited about being with him on that defining day in Washington, DC!
I would cherish taking a cruise with our USA son and my husband to Italy and Greece since architure is of great interest to him. I feel it would be an amazing way to begin his journey as a citizen of the United States of America and a way to show our love to him and celebrate this special occasion since now we have know him more than half of his life.

  44. Rene Borst says:

  45. Amy Koch says:

I would go to New Orleans with my husband. We have had 3 friends vacation there recently and the stories and photos are irresistible! We have now been married for 18 years and we haven’t been back to AZ since 2001. I’d love to take a romantic trip with my dear husband driving around AZ seeing the beauty of the state and enjoying places that hold special meaning and memories for us when we were newlyweds. The warm weather would feel pretty nice about now too! Sign me up, I am so ready! =)

My children whom are 11, 5 and soon to be 4 are really wanting to go to Disney World! I think with a great WIN we could make this happen in FLORIDA with Mickey Mouse!! My 2 younger children just love MICKEY and MINNIE 🙂

  50. if i had the chance to go anywhere, i would go to daytona beach florida. I would go there because my aunt whom i am very close to moved there and i havent seen her in quite some time. i would take my two children and husband with me because my kids and husband mean everything to me and everything we do we do as a family. my children are 2 and 8m and we have never been on a family vacation. we were planning on going this year but due to some unforseen financial occurences we are not able to go. it has been an extremely roguh year for us as far as a high risk pregnancy, then having my “miracle” baby, and still fighting for his special needs now. between scarry doctors appointments, therapy, hospital visits, putting all that aside to go see aunt debbie would mean the world to me and my family not to mention to my aunt who hasnt seen my son since he was born.

He deserves to have a vacation for just the 2 of us. He is truly amazing!!

  58. Alicia Vollmer says:

I would love to travel to Honolulu, Hawaii to see my great aunt and uncle who live over there. However, I feel that this would be a great trip for my parents. Tink that thishey haven’t been on a vacation together, with just the two of them, for as long as I can remember. They have been married for 30 years, raised 4 girls, and are two of the hardest working people I know. I th would be a great opportunity for them and would make their Valentines Day “the best day ever!!”

  59. Sarah says:

I would whisk my darling husband away with me to the sunny beaches of Florida. He works so hard and really deserves a little time to just relax and enjoy life’s simple pleasures. And then in September our youngest decided that college wasnt for him, so he moved home. So we have spent our freetime and vacation money on building an apartment and supporting our entire family. Our small quiet home is over flowing…We love having them all here…but we really could use a few days to ourselves…

Zachary and Angela are two wonderful kids starting out on the hard road of this new economic situation and they are doing the best hey can do, they ask for nothing and are hard working with jobs and not the careers their education prepared them for. It is a place which holds special memories for him as he used to visit there with his father who passed away without warning — of cancer — at only age 50 –just months before our wedding. Seventeen years later, a trip to Myrtle Beach would allow my husband to reminese. That is what true loves is about …”memories” — old and new. We were all set to spend a week at Bethany Beach in DE when Hurricane Irene so rudely made that impossible. Instead, we were hunkered down at home with the generator running. We didnt get our get-a-way to the beach like we had been dreaming about 🙁
    We need a make up!

  103. A little more than 3 years ago my husband and I were married. We didn’t have money or the support of most people so on my break during the day between bus runs we went down to the town judge and got married. I went back to work later that afternoon. I would love to go to florida with him. A chance for us to walk on the beach and really be together. We never had a honeymoon and we have had a rough couple of years and I would love to have a fresh start.

  104. I did a semester of college in Hilo and Spring break in Maui. I would love to go to Maui and take my valentine on the road to hanna…beautiful!

I would take my husband to Boston, we fell in love with the city over the summer. He is a disabled Veteran who attends college full time while working full time…it doesn’t leave a lot of room for romance. We have three beautiful kids, great friends, jobs we love but we both need some time to romance and reconnect.

  106. Kathy Wheeler says:

Seriously…I have not been away since my children were small. And my oldest is now 23! I could finally go away and enjoy myself without worrying about who would watch them, would they be ok, and would someone feed them! heehee I would love to go on a nice relaxing vacation that would include a massage and peace & quiet. Having noone knocking on the bathroom door would be great too!!!! Cruise me baby anywhere!

would go see twin grandsons in Georgia-haven’t seen in two years-would take husband-been married 45 years in March-was in sickness and health

  108. I would take my sweetie husband somewhere along the Appalachian Trail to spend a quiet vacation away from our kids and far from tourists. He’s always talked about how beautiful it is there, but I have never been.

  109. Patty M says:

I would take my husband to maine or NH. We would then go find a quiet trail hike for a bit. After that go to a spa and then relax infront of a nice roaring fire.

  110. Kimberly McPhail says:

A vacation to San Fransisco with my hubby would be amazing. We’ve been married 10 years and our honeymoon was our last vacation that was just us.

  111. nancy hathaway says:

Would love to go back to Hawaii for a 2nd honeymoon with hubby. We’ve been married for almost 20 years and haven’t had a nice vacation since our honeymoon. We’re due…:)

  112. nancy hathaway says:

    why is it saying it’s 12:40 on 2/14 when it’s 11:40pm on 2/13?

  113. Tina Valentinetti says:

Many centuries ago, in a land far away, King Valentinetti was known an the King of Love, due to his total dedication toward the welfare of his subjects. Later he became St. Valentinetti, with a day devoted to the celebration of love among all mankind. Since so many people had trouble prononcing his name, the day became known as Valentine’s Day. I met a distant descendent of King Valentinetti 42 years ago in San Francisco, and we immediately fell in love. Winning this contest would help us to celebrate our 42nd wedding anniversary in San Francisco, the magic city of love.
