Introducing High River Sauces at Price Chopper and Market 32!

santos We’re excited to be the first in the area to offer High River Sauces, a line of organic and award-winning BBQ, steak, and hot sauces that are the brainchild of music industry veteran, food junkie and cookbook author Steve Seabury and his high-profile collaborators from the music and culinary worlds! This week Steve Seabury and Food Network Chef Chris Santos will be at a few of our stores offering menu suggestions and sampling the following sauces: Rattler Sauce   Rattler BBQ Sauce: Chef Santos’ own recipe of a barbeque sauce with a bite of sweet heat.     tears of the sun   Tears of the Sun Hot Sauce:  Out of the kitchen of Trans-Siberian Orchestra / Savatage guitarist Chris Caffery, this sauce is a blend of habanero peppers and tropical fruit.     Additional sauces that will be available for purchase include: Hellacious Hot Sauce, a robust and bold sauce with a unique combination of the peppers and a variety of spices and Cheeba Gold Hot Sauce, a fiery mustard-based hot sauce that uses curry, sweet peach, and scotch bonnets for a zesty tropical flavor.   About Steve Seabury and Chris Santos: Steve Seabury has an extensive history in the music industry including performing, working at various record and marketing companies, producing, and managing tours.  He’s worked with legends including ZZ Top, Zakk Wylde, Ronnie James Dio, Alice Cooper, Ted Nugent, Metallica, Velvet Revolver, Iron Maiden, and Judas Priest. Recently, he formed Barley & Hops Management, a new record company called Giddy Up! Records, a new metal band (Moth Eater) and embraced his passion for food with the release of a cookbook (Mosh Potatoes) and line of High River Sauces. Chef Chris Santos worked his first restaurant job at 13, washing dishes. He graduated from Johnson & Wales and traveled the world to better understand different cultural cuisines. He spent time working in high-profile kitchens, before being named executive chef at the age of 23. Since then, he opened The Stanton Social in New York’s Lower East Side and Beauty and Essex with locations in New York, Las Vegas and Los Angeles. In 2017, he released his first cookbook, Share: Delicious and Surprising Recipes to Pass Around Your Table. He is a frequent judge on the Food Network series “Chopped” and makes guest appearances on the “Rachael Ray Show,” “The Early Show,” “The Today Show,” Food Network’s “Heavyweights” and Martha Stewart Radio.
