Citrus Has a New Season

citrus from chile Fresh citrus in the Fall? Yes, we can! Citrus from Chile is great quality, and has been part of a long tradition of orchards and fruit exporters. Chile’s unique geography, over 2600 miles long, is home to many rich agricultural valleys, and a climate that allows a “counter” season from our traditional winter citrus. More is better when it comes to produce, and we love bringing unique, quality options to your table. The bagged EZ Peeler clementines and navel oranges we have in our Produce Department in stores offer a wonderful flavor, easy carry and easy clean up. Bonus- children love finding those clementines in their lunch! They offer a nice way to boost Vitamin C intake, right when the weather is changing, and we are all heading back inside after a busy summer. These clementines and oranges are also wonderful paired with traditional fall vegetables, like broccoli  – check out the recipe links for some fresh ideas.
