Prom-goers and parents of prom-goers: Prom season is near, and we’re searching for this year’s best Price Chopper promposal! Last year we had our first #PCpromposal at our Cobleskill, NY store. One of our Front End teammates was asked to prom by a very creative friend who drew the poster pictured below, complete with a beautiful AdvantEdge card sketch and bag of fresh bakery donuts (“donut” say no). We were so impressed, we decided to create a promposal contest for this prom season! Can you top last year’s Price Chopper promposal? Submit our favorite #PCpromposal photo and you’ll win $500 in gift cards to use towards prom expenses, plus a free corsage & boutonniere for the prom pair designed by our Central Market Florist team! A #PCpromposal should involve a combination of Price Chopper brand products, Market 32 brand products and/or your local Price Chopper or Market 32 store. Ask your potential date to prom at your hometown Price Chopper, or do a #PCpromposal at home with products from our stores! Our internal panel will review each entry for uniqueness, creativity, use of our brands and use of our stores. Maybe you take your potential date to our Roasters Café at your local Price Chopper to enjoy a pizza, with a promposal written inside the pizza box, or offer your potential date a box of PICS Tea with “Hey Cu-Tea, Prom with Me?” message attached.
