Price Chopper will be offering you an authentic Farmer’s market experience! We’ve invited six local farmers to hold a Farmer’s Market at fourteen of our store locations! Beginning this weekend (7/30/11-7/31/11) and ending the first weekend in September (9/3/11-9/4/11), various Price Chopper stores will be hosting a local farmer on weekends from 10 AM – 2 PM. You can purchase local items at the Price Chopper Farmer’s Market Program at the following stores: Middleton and Newington, CT; Keene and West Lebanon, NH; Altamont Ave, Bethlehem, Brunswick, Cortland, Glenmont, Malta, New Colonie, Niskayuna and Warwick, NY; and Bennington, VT! Produce may be paid for at the outdoor register or items can be brought in the store and paid for after shopping inside Price Chopper. We know you might be asking: Will local produce from the Price Chopper Farmer’s Market count towards my Fuel Points? YES! Your Fuel Points will be posted by the end of the day. Also, keep an eye out for some great items that aren’t traditionally sold at a Farmer’s Market! Do you want more information on the local produce available at Price Chopper? Check out our Locally Grown page for featured produce of the week! You can watch a video introducing a local farmer who grows our featured item and find recipes, tips, and more! In addition, you can check out our weekly ad for even more information on which local produce is available each week! Don’t forget to also stop in to the Farmer’s Market locations on weekends for the Price Chopper Farmer’s Market! Now, that’s Price Chopper from the farm value!
