The Retail Management Academy (RMA for short) puts candidates on the fast track to becoming future leaders of the organization. This program provides learning experiences for various components of the retail business. Successful completion of this 20-month program lands an individual in the position of Co-Manager (Assistant Store Manager). However, this is just the beginning as Price Chopper's goal is for successful RMA graduates to be the Store Managers and Zone Directors of the future!
The First Clerk Associate Development Program proactively trains candidates in specific disciplines of our business (e.g. Grocery, Produce, Deli). Upon successful completion of this 6-9 month program, an individual is placed as an Assistant Department Manager (or First Clerk). The experience of the First Clerk Associate Development Program positions high performing teammates to climb the management ladder with no limits!
Price Chopper, HVCC and Excelsior College have joined forces to help teammates achieve their academic goals. When you are a Price Chopper teammate, your success is our success and education is the key. Teammates can earn a Certificate in Supermarket Management and Operations or an Associate Degree in Applied Science Business Administration from HVCC and then apply those credits toward a Bachelor's Degree in Business at Excelsior College.
