| 2 | cups | PRICE CHOPPER shredded sharp cheddar cheese | |
| Dry bread crumbs | |||

Cook macaroni according to package directions. While macaroni is cooking prepare cheese sauce.
In a saucepan, saute onion in butter until tender. Stir in flour, mustard and pepper. Add milk, cook and stir until slightly thickened. Add shredded cheese and stir until melted.
Combine macaroni and cheese sauce. Transfer to a 1- quart casserole. Top with buttered bread crumbs and bake in a preheated 350 degree F. oven for 30 minutes.

“This is a great dish to get the kids involved in the kitchen. I served this with canned peaches & frozen mixed veggies so dinner was super fast and easy. I plan on making a double batch next time so we have some for left overs. I also plan on trying different cheeses OR a combination of cheeses next time. Also a great recipe for make ahead/freeze meals.”
